Terms of Service

1. Overview
These Terms govern the valuation and purchase services provided by Sell My Watch Co. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Valuations
All initial valuations provided via phone, email, or website submission are indicative only.
Final purchase price is subject to:
- Physical inspection
- Authentication
- Confirmation of condition
- Verification of serial numbers and documentation
3. Inspection Process
Transactions are conducted through a structured process:
- Client and representative meet at a professional horologist.
- The watch undergoes authentication and condition assessment.
- Upon confirmation, payment is transferred directly to the client's nominated bank account.
No funds are released prior to authentication.
4. Payment
Payment is made via direct electronic bank transfer.
Funds are transferred immediately following successful inspection and agreement on final purchase price.
Clients are responsible for confirming cleared funds before releasing possession of the timepiece.
We do not operate on a consignment basis unless expressly agreed in writing.
5. Ownership & Authority
By proceeding with a sale, you confirm:
- You are the lawful owner of the watch
- The watch is not stolen or encumbered
- You have full authority to sell
We reserve the right to request identification and supporting documentation.
6. Refusal of Transaction
We reserve the right to refuse a transaction if:
- Authentication fails
- Serial numbers appear altered or inconsistent
- Documentation raises concerns
- Legal ownership cannot be established
7. Limitation of Liability
Sell My Watch Co is not responsible for:
- Market value fluctuations
- Manufacturer warranty status
- Future resale value
Our liability is limited to the agreed purchase price at the time of transaction.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
